NB: Change of date to: Thursday October 15th – 16.00-17.00 at Dryden Centre

The recent changes to the curriculum in computing and new assessment requirements, have created some challenges for schools.

The Local Authority wishes to ensure that high quality computing support is available for Head Teachers, ICT Co-ordinators and all teachers.

This Computing Hour session will focus on the services and materials produced by JEM N.E. CIC (JEM).

JEM has developed a Scheme of Work for Computing and an Assessment Pack for Computing at Key Stages 1 and 2.

JEM also offers an in-school Online Safety Audit, Online Safety training and bespoke curriculum development. Schools which have used JEM speak highly about the quality of service and the effectiveness of materials.

We have met with the JEM team and we feel that their services are well worth your consideration.

Interest in this session is high and we recommend you book your place asap by calling either Peter or Chris on 0191 433 8597. The session is FREE.
